UK schools awarded energy efficiency grants

The Government announced they will invest £500 million in energy efficiency upgrades for schools in the UK.

The aim is to help schools and colleges across England save on energy bills and reduce energy consumption this winter.

Earlier this year, a report by the Labor Party suggested that English schools could be paying an estimated £1 billion a year for energy usage.
